Raffle App Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your participation in raffle events organized by Black Light Bash, a DBA of Venue 185 LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), and your use of our SMS notification service. By purchasing raffle tickets or opting in to receive SMS notifications, you agree to these Terms.

1. RAFFLE PARTICIPATION

By purchasing raffle tickets at a Black Light Bash event, you agree to the following:

• You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase raffle tickets

• Ticket purchases are final and non-refundable

• Each ticket number is unique and assigned sequentially at the time of purchase

• Winners are selected by random draw conducted by Black Light Bash staff

• The draw result is final and not subject to appeal

• Winners must be present or reachable by phone at the time of the draw to claim their prize within the timeframe announced at the event

• Prizes are awarded as cash payouts equal to 50% of total raffle ticket revenue for that raffle, unless otherwise stated

2. SMS NOTIFICATION SERVICE

By replying YES to our opt-in text message, you agree to receive SMS notifications from Black Light Bash. These messages include ticket purchase confirmations and winner notifications. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency is typically 1–2 messages per event. Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for help.

You understand and agree that:

• SMS notifications are a courtesy service and not a guarantee of delivery

• Failure to receive an SMS notification does not affect the validity of your ticket purchase or your eligibility to win

• Your ticket numbers are valid regardless of whether you receive or read any SMS notification

• You are responsible for ensuring the phone number provided is accurate and capable of receiving SMS messages

• Providing a phone number is optional — tickets may be purchased without SMS notifications

3. OPT-IN AND OPT-OUT

SMS consent is obtained through a double opt-in process:

• At the point of sale, an event organizer enters your phone number into our system

• You receive an SMS asking you to reply YES to consent to receive messages

• Only after you reply YES will you receive ticket confirmation or winner notification messages

• You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us

• Once you reply STOP, you will receive no further SMS messages from Black Light Bash

4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Light Bash and Venue 185 LLC shall not be liable for:

• Any failure or delay in SMS message delivery due to carrier issues, network outages, or technical failures

• Any loss or damage arising from your reliance on SMS notifications

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation in our raffle events

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for your raffle tickets at the event in question.

5. COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS

Black Light Bash operates raffle events in compliance with applicable Missouri state laws and regulations governing charitable and promotional raffles. Participants are responsible for compliance with their own local laws regarding raffle participation.

6. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued participation in our events constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

7. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Missouri.
